TRF App Flows
TRF app is designed for six different types of users, each with specific needs. TRF groups each user's needs into sequences of screens we call ‘flows.’ Flows give access where needed while limiting the TRF learning curve for all. Each user learns their flows without needing to master the rest of the app. The eight flows are: Initial Setup Flow New Client Flow Artist Notes Pane Flow Returning Client Flow Save for Later Flow Main Menu Flow Settings Flow TRF Cloud Folder Flow
Initial Setup Flow
Initial setup of TRF app is quick and easy, especially if you are prepared with some basic information about your studio, cloud, and health codes.
New Client Flow
Clients make their own waivers with TRF app without help from studio staff. The client steps up to the iPad, photographs her ID, and is led by the app through a smooth-flowing info-gathering interface.
Artist Notes Pane Flow
The Artist Notes Pane serves as the secure post-intake dashboard where tattoo artists review health alerts, log session equipment, calculate financials, attach supporting documentation, and sign off to upload the waiver.
Returning Client Flow
For returning clients who will work on the same tattoo over multiple sessions, TRF fast-tracks each subsequent waiver submission to a sub-ten-second experience with a new date. Same tattoo, almost-same waiver. Too easy.
Save For Later Flow
In the making of a TRF waiver, both client and artists add data. Between client and artist inputs, the waiver can be paused by tapping SAVE FOR LATER. This feature sets the unfinished waiver aside to be completed later, and resets the app for the next client.
Main Menu Flow
Your TRF Main Menu is command central for shop setup. By tapping the hamburger menu (the three stacked lines in the top right corner of the welcome screen), shop management can access everything needed to customize the app, manage subscriptions, and get support.
Settings Flow
TRF app Settings are arranged into an intuitive flow based on the feedback of thousands of studios across the globe. While TRF is feature-rich, you'd never know it by looking under the hood. Naturally, we think like artists, so non-techy thinking is how we organize TRF Settings.
TRF Cloud Folder Flow
TRF app-made waivers are easily stored, searched, downloaded, or shared PDFs. The TRF Cloud Folder Flow lives on your cloud and is how you share waiver information with health departments and legal teams.
Tattooing Minors Flow
Learn how the TRF app handles minor client intake, parent/guardian legal disclosures, proof of guardianship ID photo capture, and final waiver authorization for health department compliance.
CRF Client and Specialist Flow
Learn how Cosmetic Release Forms (CRF) works inside of the TRF App—from client intake and health disclosures to specialist procedure logging and returning client touch-ups. The PMU industry loved CRF App as the top PMU wavier app on the App Store for 8 years. Now it's seamlessly woven into TRF for the good of all.
